CNMN looks over toward one of the vents. Based off of the clanging, something is crawling through it.
When it pops open and 808 leaps out, they’re not surprised in the slightest. They wish they had a marker so they could draw a smile on their face. It’s been a while since they last saw her. Actually, it’s been a good bit since they last saw any of the others. They’re all very busy rebuilding and sorting things out.
“Hello, 808!” he greets her, waving.
She shakes herself, sending dust flying. Then, she looks at them and smiles. Leaping over to the work table they’re lying on, she rubs against their side with a purr. They pat her on the head.
“I assume you are looking for Sir Macaron. I’m afraid you just missed him, but I’m sure he’ll be back shortly!”
Shaking her head, she pads up to his face. She licks the side of it.
“Oh? Did...you come here just to see me, then?”
She nods, then buts her head against the underside of CNMN’s chin.
Ah. Their lights flicker.
“Thank you. I appreciate that a lot.”
After licking his face again, 808 hops onto his chest. She circles a few times. Lying down, paws tucked in close, her tail curls around herself.
Reaching up, they set their hand on her back. Not even a second later, she starts purring.
If CNMN could, he’d be positively beaming.
